The creators' imprint: when the rug becomes a canvas for expression
At Edito Paris, we believe that textile design is enriched when it embraces unexpected perspectives. It is with this idea in mind that we conceived our Signature Collection : a series of collaborations with designers from the furniture, object, or applied arts sectors, sometimes far removed from the world of rugs. This openness allows for the exploration of new creative avenues, far from conventions, with a free, curious, and sensitive approach.
Each project is born from an exchange, a shared vision between the designer's perspective and our textile expertise. Together, we strive to create rugs that are not only beautiful, but that tell a story. An intention, a rhythm, a graphic balance. Pieces designed to complement everyday life while adding a unique touch to any space.
Personal universes serving a living design
The designers of the Signature Collection come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own visual language, references, and approach to composition. Some draw inspiration from architecture or drawing, others from nature or materials. Their work may involve a play of contrasts, an intuitive design, or a carefully considered composition—always with a focus on meaning and coherence.
Over time, this diversity has nurtured a collection that is both coherent and constantly evolving. The resulting rugs oscillate between abstraction and evocation, between geometry and suggestion. They are design objects, but also surfaces for expression, designed to integrate seamlessly into our interiors.
The designers of the Signature Collection
Aude Perrier

Influenced by the graphic references of the 1970s and an instinctive sensitivity to color, she creates free and contrasting compositions. His work aims to reveal the essence of forms through simple, elemental design, free from all superfluity. For Edito, he translates this formal rigor into a structured and understated rug called " Ribbon ," which explores the quiet beauty of clean lines.
Claire Buet
Independent designer Claire Buet cultivates a delicate, sensitive, and contemplative world. Inspired by simple everyday gestures—such as foraging or observing nature—she designs poetic objects that engage with space and emotions. Her collaboration with Edito extends this approach into the world of rugs, through soft, meditative forms conceived as fragments of an inner landscape. Discover the Dott and Shade rugs.
